REFLECTIONS

{ 2011-2012 Reflections Theme: "DIVERSITY MEANS. . . " }

Show off your artistic expression through the PTA's annual arts Reflections Program. Create works of art for fun and recognition based on this year's theme, "DIVERSITY MEANS. . ."! All Entry Forms and Rules can be downloaded from the links on this page or you may email the Chairperson to request print outs.

Literature – Musical Composition – Photography – Visual Arts – Dance Choreography – Film/Video Production
** You may submit separate entries (even in the same category), but each one must have a separate entry form **

{HOW TO GET STARTED}
  • Download the "Reflections Entry Form".
    Fill out the form completely, making sure it's signed by both child and parent.
  • Download and read the "General Participation Rules" which covers the overall requirements for all entrants.
  • Download and CAREFULLY read the "...Rules" page for the category (or categories) you have chosen to enter.

    {ENTRY DEADLINE}
    Friday, October 7, 2011

    {TURN IN LOCATION}
    Submit your completed entry to the PTA in the school lobby until 9:15 a.m. on the date above.

    {SPECIAL NOTES}
  • Photography and Visual Arts Participants: It is required that your artwork MUST must be contained in clear wrapping paper or shrink wrap (from the art store) before it is turned in. This will protect your artwork and have it “show ready” for display at Awards night. Email or call the chairperson for more clarification if needed
  • Photography and Visual Arts Participants: Do not put your name or any information on the front of the artwork or mat.


    {REFLECTIONS THEME SEARCH FOR 2013-2014}

    The National PTA is looking for a theme for the 2013-2014 Reflections Program year. The winning entry will receive $100 and will be presented at the 2012 PTA National Convention!

    {INSTRUCTIONS}
  • Download the "Reflections Theme Search Form"
  • Be sure to look at previous themes so you don't repeat any!
  • Fill out the Form completely and sign it.
  • Mail it directly to the State PTA office listed on the bottom of the form.

    Due Date: Must be postmarked by Friday, November 4, 2011. Good luck!
